Leonor M. Rojas, PharmD, BCPS
Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist
Leonor Rojas is the Antimicrobial Stewardship pharmacist at Valley Hospital. In this role, she evaluates patients on antimicrobial therapy for appropriateness of treatment and conducts medication drug reviews on multiple antibiotic classes. Leonor obtained her doctorate degree in pharmacy from Roseman University of Health Sciences in 2011 and went on to complete a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in 2012. She joined the Valley Hospital Pharmacy team shortly after finishing her residency and becoming a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy specialist at the end of that year. In addition, she has completed the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate Program. Leonor is a member of SIDP and MAD-ID organizations.
