Optional Teaching Certificate Program
Our teaching certificate program is administered in conjunction with the College of Pharmacy at Roseman University of Health Sciences. The optional teaching certificate program offers interested and motivated residents the opportunity to engage in experiential precepting of students, development and assessment of student assignments such as Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and journal clubs, and the opportunity to deliver didactic teaching in the classroom setting.
The teaching certificate program also provides residents with some fundamental training in teaching pedagogies, student skills assessment, teaching philosophies, and skills pertaining to exam question writing. This experience may be tailored to suit the individualized interests of the resident.
