Since 1972, the healthcare professionals of Valley Hospital pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care to all who enter our doors. As a teaching hospital, we focus on the use of evidence-based medicine and the importance of following clinical pathways that research has shown to be effective with most patients.

To give optimal care to Southern Nevada residents and visitors, we are the first hospital in Southern Nevada to receive accreditation as a Primary Stroke Center , a Certified Chest Pain Center  and an accredited Heart Failure Center. We continue to add specialty programs such as wound healing and hyperbaric services , and blood conservation and transfusion-free medicine programs. We also offer New Vision , a medical stabilization program for those withdrawing from drug or alcohol use.

Our healthcare team knows that chest pain can be a symptom of a larger problem — cardiovascular disease. At Valley Hospital, we treat all conditions related to cardiovascular disease, including arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, heart attacks, peripheral vascular disease, stroke, thoracic aortic disease and valve disease.

New families begin within our maternity center , which features antepartum care, maternal triage services and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit.

Our patients prepare for surgery under the personalized attention of our surgical services team who provide care during a wide range of surgical procedures.

And, to prepare future medical professionals in our rapidly-growing community, we offer a graduate medical education program for physicians.
