GME: Program Application Procedure

OGME 1 positions: All Programs

All applications should be made through ERAS. Interviews will be scheduled from early December 2012 for the match in February 2013 and a start date of July 1, 2013.

A complete ERAS application for OGME 1 will include:

  • ERAS application form
  • Transcript
  • COMLEX scores – 2 CE and PE scores must be posted on ERAS by December 31, 2012, to be ranked for The Match.
  • Minimum of three physician references
  • MSPE – Dean's letter
  • CV
  • Personal statement

OGME 2 or Above:

Please add the following documents to the list above:

  • Reference from current / previous Program Director
  • Proof of completion of an AOA-approved OGME 1 year
  • Official list of completed rotations
  • Evaluations of completed rotations
  • COMLEX 3 results
  • Inservice exam scores (if applicable)

Fellowship Applications (due 8/31/2012):

  • Application form – Download (PDF)
  • CV
  • Medical school diploma
  • MSPE (Dean's Letter)
  • Final medical school transcript
  • Letters of recommendation – minimum of three from IM program with one from IM program director
  • ACOI inservice exam scores (for OGME 1 & OGME 2)
  • COMLEX scores
  • Medical license
  • Photograph
