Valley Hospital Medical Center is accredited with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) by the Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPS).  The Society of Chest Pain Centers' goal is to reduce mortality from heart attacks by teaching the public to recognize and react to the early symptoms of a heart attack and to reduce the time that it takes to receive treatment.

Heart Failure Accreditation

Heart Failure Accreditation
Valley Hospital Medical Center is the first hospital in Nevada and only the seventh in the U.S. to receive full Cycle I Heart Failure Accreditation for its care of heart failure patients. The three-year accreditation is awarded by the Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC). Valley Hospital has also been reaccredited for three years as a full Cycle III Chest Pain Center Accredited with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention by the SCPC.
