My colonoscopy changed my life. I had it done but put off my follow-up visit. Then I ended up in the emergency department at Valley Hospital. Within 36 hours of learning I had colon cancer, my surgeon had removed my gallbladder and 18 inches of my colon. Fortunately, my treatment didn't require chemo or radiation. Five weeks after leaving Valley Hospital, I was back on the golf course.
